Here’s a quick summary of stuff I’ve written over the past month. Let it never be said that I ain’t keepin’ busy.

- Solar Panels Banned in Chinese Neighborhood
- China Paints Itself White to Fight Global Warming
- China Fights Somali Pirates with Army of Dophins!
- Amazing Anime Makeover
Of note here was the video slideshow I whipped up of the Anime Makeover, which to my amazement has broken 100 000 views on youtube.
On Japan, on CNet:
- Ubuntu Manga!
- LastGuy.jp: Fight Zombies on Any Webpage
- Willcom NS Clips into your Organizer
- Lookout! Here Comes the Spidermouse!
- 7 Story Cell Phone in Japan
Out of the Depths
Early in the month I was busy applying for a writing gig with a Nintendo DS review site. Unfortunately things didn’t work out and that was pretty upsetting, because had it worked out I might have been looking at a solid income from freelancing alone. The silver lining to that whole mess was that I did get to keep all the content that I had to produce during the application process. I’ve decided that rather than let it all go to waste I would start my own Nintendo DS blog, DS Ninja. Here are a few of the pieces that I wrote:
- How to Turn your Nintendo DS into a VOIP Phone
- Review: Age of Empires Mythologies
- Review: Scrabble
- Top 5 Games for Japanese Study
- Rhythm Heaven: Here Before it Arrived
1Rick.com
And of course I’ve put in a few posts here on this blog.
- Tokyo CGM Night 4 (20 min video)
- Revenue Sharing on a Wordpress Blog (DS Ninja)
- The Apps on My Mac
- Collaborative Japan Map Experiment
- How to Build a Twitter-Powered Events Calendar
Japan Tech Talk
I’ve also managed to make some time on Sunday evening to participate in a Japan tech podcast. I encourage you guys to check it out, ever Sunday at 9. The website is still in progress, but the mp3s can be accessed here for now.
