It’s no secret that I like aggregating. But I’m not a fan of aggregating like a jackass.
With that thought in mind, I wrote up this post on aggregating local content responsibly with Drupal over on Journalism 2.0. This is my second guest post over there (thanks Mark!) and there are likely more in the works. This is usually the type of stuff that I would write here on this blog, so apologies for the redirect.
For those of you who participated in my TokyoSocial brainstorming wave, you’ve already seen me discuss some of these ideas. While I’ve written about it as it relates to Drupal, a lot of the information is useful to anyone with a website. Of course, for those of you who caught the first guest post about building a feed generator in PHP, you can see how the two fit together in monitoring and producing local content.
