I attended the latest Tokyo CGM Night this past Friday. As usual it was an excellent event, and you can read a little more about all the excellent people in attendance over on my CNet Tokyo Shift blog.
Swiss startup Poken stole the show with their amazing little electronic business card gadgets. Founder Stéphane Doutriaux gave a short presentation explaining how Poken work, and you can see the video of that below.

As a bit of a sidenote, some of you may have noticed the iTunes button on the right hand side of this site. There’s been a lot of talk about podcasting lately around the Japan blogosphere, and I thought I’d implement one here as a means of sharing some of the media that I put on site. The technology behind this was pretty simple. I upload my videos (taken on a tiny flip cam) to my upgraded drop.io account. The RSS feed for that drop is sent into iTunes. Easy as pie.
I’ve also been participating in a Japan tech podcast recently, which is a lot of fun. I’ll post more about that once it settles into a regular schedule, which I hope it does.
If you’re interested in starting a podcast, be sure to check out my Podcast Tools post. There are lots of useful links and tips there.
