I was searching around for some good tunes for running a few weeks back, and I couldn’t really find too much that I liked. Since then I’ve whipped up a pretty fun playlist on my iPod and I thought I’d share it here. It’s a pretty diverse mix, and the only rule I had when choosing was that Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’ would under no circumstances make the cut.
I’ve been trying to stick with running since I came to Tokyo, and only over the past few weeks am I managing to get out on a regular basis (thanks in large part to Matthew for coming out too). I live near an awesome trail that runs along the Onda River and if I can’t manage to run here then I’ll never do it. I’ll write a little more about this whole endeavor at a later date. For now, check the awesome tunage below.
If you have any suggestions for good running songs, hit me up in the comments.

Lots of quality music, but you missed a bunch of good music. First off, Arcade Fire’s Power’s Out for sure should have made the cut, or Crown of Love, or really any Arcade Fire song. But also what about Gaslight Anthem, or some David Bowie? Maybe a running play list number two is in need…
